Verla Is doing pretty good now but is still in rehab . She was a smoker and is having a rough time quiting. She says she dont want to go around people smoking yet as she is afraid that she might start again She hasnt had one since about the 20th of august, I really hope she can do it.
I smoked for about 40 years and gave it up a few years ago. I took her some gum to chew maybe that will help some.
A group of us ladies in my town have started a club for any kind of hooking , crochet knitting tatting embroidier latch hook or just visit.
most of them are just learning to crochet
anyone can join Our name is The Virgin Hookers
We are makeing blocks for a baby afghan then we will donate it to someone in need,
We are going to have lots of fun I think.

What a fun thing to get together with others and do 'hooking' type crafts!
I wish your sister the best in her goal to quit smoking. My hubby was a smoker and had to quit when he had lung surgery in 1985. It was a very hectic time for all of us. We moved into our house 3 days after he was out of the hospital and he couldn't do anything. I'm so thankful for my family and our friends!
